Tweaked Chevy Corvette C8 Plays a Game of ‘Spot the Changes,’ Can You?

The new generation Chevrolet Corvette has become a favorite among certain tuners on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Hennessey’s twin-turbocharged project, which boasts 643 horsepower at the wheels, is one of the most menacing out there.

But what if you want to keep yours simple while giving it a more exclusive touch? That is where wheelmakers come in. This one sits on Vossen’s Hybrid Forged HF-3 set, in a two-tone design that suits the car’s Arctic White paint finish like a glove, features Vossen center caps, and grippy tires from Michelin.

A quick look on the wheelmaker’s official website reveals that this particular set can be ordered in diameters ranging from 19 to 24 inches, and widths from 8.5 to 12 inches. The standard paint jobs include Gloss Graphite Polished and Double Tinted Gloss Black, while optionally, customers can go for the Gloss Black, Satin Black, Anthracite, Satin Silver or Satin Bronze.

Priced from $549 each, these wheels have already equipped a different number of cars. Vossen shows them on pretty much anything, from the Jeep Gladiator to the Volkswagen Transporter T5 and T6, and from the Ferrari F8 Tributo, to the Lexus LX, Toyota Supra and Tesla Model 3.

If these pics make you crave for a Corvette C8 of your own, then get ready to pay a minimum of $59,900 (MSRP), if you can find a base one in dealer lots, that is. The 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine, which sits in the middle of the car, behind the seats, for the first time, produces up to 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet (637 Nm) of torque when ordered with the performance exhaust system.

It's not only the construction that makes it a supercar rival, but the performance too. From rest to 60 mph (0-97 kph), the new ‘Vette needs 2.9 seconds, and it can do 194 mph (312 kph).
