What better way for automobile companies to advertise their cars, than to have celebs buy them. This time around we’re talking about TV presenter Melanie Sykes that was enchanted by the new Abarth 500C.
Apparently, she has previously owned a Fiat 500C and wanted to spicy things up with a something a bit more powerful but at the same time small and chic. She had her eye on an Abarth and when she heard that the Abarth 500 was available in 500C convertible form , she had to have one for herself. And we have to say that Melanie Sykes was pretty excited about the aforementioned vehicle saying that “ it’s fabulous.”
From a design point of view, the Abarth 500C is indeed stylish, making you fall in love with its bubbly attitude. The soft top on the car is definitely something thanks to the refined electric linkage as well as the quality engineering solutions. We’re talking about the built-in centrally positioned high mounted stop light and the foldaway glass rear window.
Moreover, by making the car available with a 1.4-litre turbo-charged engine that offers a top speed of 128mph, and 0-62mph time of just 8.1 seconds, you get one feisty little vehicle. So, size doesn’t always matter as long as we’re talking high-quality.
