Earlier this month, we talked about the 7:10 Nurburgring lap of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. And no, that wasn't the factory stock GT3 RS, since the PDK wielder is a 7:20 car. Instead, the Neunelfer had received a few touches from Manthey Racing.
As it usually happens with such Ring sessions, most of the footage came from inside the car. Well, we are now back on the topic to show you how the flying Neunelfer looked when filmed from the side of the infamous German circuit.

Keep in mind that Manthey Racing is a semi-factory owned developer, with the collaboration between the crew and Porsche having led to the release of the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR.

When it comes to what the specialist did for the rear-engined animal we have here, we're not aware of the exact mods fitted to the car and yet we expect minor goodies targeting the aero and wheels of the machine.

A custom exhaust might also be on the menu and we're inviting you to pay close attention to the aural side of the Porscha - thanks to the multitude of angles and spotting locations involved by the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, you'll get a good taste of his Neunelfer's war cry.

And with this example of the Rennsport model being dressed in Ultraviolet Blue, the visual side of the adventure will be just as engaging.

Speaking of the GT3 RS, this is the only 911 derivative that hasn't received its 991.2 transformation yet. Earlier this year, we spied the facelifted track special, but it seems that the German automotive producer is taking its time with the introduction of the revamped model. We'll remind you that unofficial chat mentions a 2018 introduction for the new GT3 RS.

Porsche is expected to focus on the 2018 GT3 for now, as the rumor mill talks about the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show bringing us the Touring Package for the 991.2 GT3.
