Deliveries of the new BMW F80 M3 and M4 are taking place all over the US as we speak, more and more owners taking delivery of their new rides. Amongst them you can also count a couple that are destined for tuning companies that will be wearing all sorts of aftermarket parts pretty soon.
We were here when the first M4 was tuned and now, a couple of weeks later, we’re bringing you another one that is simply too hot to miss out on. This one was done by the guys from PUR Wheels and it’s absolutely stunning.
Wearing the color we think defines the M4 the best, Sakhir Orange, the Bimmer received a few but essential parts to make it look both sleeker and more aggressive at the same time.
First of all, a new set of kidney grilles were installed up front, dressed in all black, to fit the car’s color scheme. Then, the piece du resistance was added, a set of PUR 4OUR.SP wheels measuring 20x9 inches up front and 20x10.5 round the back, dressed in what they call Euro Silver. Together with the tinted windows, CFRP roof and matching front kidneys nothing more was needed, this thing was close to perfection.
We’re saying just close because in some shots we noticed that the rear wheels are really close to the fenders, at high speeds or over bigger pot holes probably nicking them.
And high speeds are easy to come by in this new M car, as the 3-liter twin-turbo engine is making 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque and is capable of sending it up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds if equipped with the automatic 7-speed DCT gearbox. The only problem you have to sort out is the price tag that rises to $64,200 MSRP in the US. Plus the cost of the wheels...
