Ford only offered the Mk3 Focus RS with a six-speed manual transmission, but the last hoorah in this lineup came with all-wheel drive and a smart rear axle. When it was new, its makers estimated a 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) acceleration in just 4.7 seconds, while the top speed was 266 kph (165 mph). That's more than respectable, but it may not be enough if you get used to it.
