True Relaxation Occurs Only With the OP15 Hybrid Off-Road Camper From Opus

Everyone is just itching to get out of the house. It doesn’t matter where we go, we just need to go. But that doesn’t mean we have to leave behind any of the essentials of home and live like animals for two maybe three weeks.

To combat the unbrushed teeth and lack of water that we sometimes encounter while taking a road trip, Opus Camper has unveiled their newest camper, the OP15. However, there is one other word missing, ‘hybrid.’ Although it doesn’t mean what we may be used to. For the OP15 the term ‘hybrid’ refers more to a modular effect that takes place in the roof, but we’ll talk about that shortly.

Before we go any further, take note that this camper retails at $45,000. But don’t try getting one directly from Opus. Unfortunately, we must purchase through a dealership. No cutting out the middleman on this one. But frankly, once you see what your money will get you, you probably won’t care.

To start it all off, this bad boy floats in like a featherweight with only 6600 lbs (2993 kg) that sits on a fully galvanized and welded chassis. But the lock’n’roll hitch that connects to your truck will make you feel like you’re towing half that. This system allows for complete 360-degree rotation further sustained by an awesome suspension.

For the suspensions we are offered an independent trailing arm coil spring system. And it’s axle-less, giving you 14 in (35.5 cm) of ground clearance. To keep it all nice and tight, dual gas shock absorbers and larger springs (compared to previous models), have been thrown in.

The final feature of the exterior would be the complete slide out kitchen. Really, aside from just the size of the fridge and freezer, it has all the amenities of my kitchen at home. Within the slide-out we find a stainless-steel setup with a four-burner stove top fueled by propane or whatever else you can use.

There’s even a folding dish rack, 110V outlet, and a sink with folding faucet. Oh, and it pumps out both hot and cold water. There’s even a prep table and lockable pantry. Nearly forgot the fridge and freezer. To keep things nice and cool as you go ‘splorin, a 12V fridge and freezer can be slid out into view just like the kitchenette.

Oh, yeah, nearly forgot. The exterior of the OP15 also includes a fully equipped exterior entertainment center with a flatscreen TV and Bluetooth speakers. Finally, now I can head inside and get some sleep.

One of the things that makes th OP so attractive is the floorplan. It’s friggin huge! Just to understand how big, understand that this sucker includes a king-size bed. What other campers, except maybe the Wilderwise, have you heard of including a full king (sleeps 4) and an extra two bunk bedding spaces? That's what I thought.

Unlike other campers on that market at this time, there’s also a fully stocked bathroom. Not only does it include a full-sized shower, but also a complete chemical toilet as well. A dining area with an adjustable bamboo table is offered for enjoying your freshly caught meal.

What I found rather nice about the interior is the use of bamboo as cabinetwork. Not only is it light and durable, but it also offers a wonderful color tone. Not that you’d care once it’s all covered in mud.

Now, I'm sorry to be brief, but if I was to sit here and go through everything else that is included in the OP, we might actually be here until quarantine is over. So click here or check out the video below and do give it a bit more than just a quick look. If you don’t end up buying one, you’ll spend some time daydreaming instead.
