What happens when your passion for off-roading, pickup trucks, and a business mindset are put together? You get something like this.

What are we looking at is something just short of a miracle. Featured at SEMA 2014, Truck Guru, or owner Chris Payne, unveiled this beastly device made to conquer everything from roads, trails, and ever do a bit of rock climbing in case you get bored. And if we know anything about SEMA it’s that it showcases the craziest and best designs around.

But what we’re seeing isn’t the team's first attempt to do something this crazy. The year before, 2013, they tried this style of design with a golfcart instead of a Wrangler. But this seems to be the final level in pickup truck design, and the Guru knows what’s up.

So to understand what it is that’s going on in the mashup, we’re going to break it down for you a bit, as each ride has seen massive modifications. This being said, we’re going to start from the ground up.

Now, anytime you’re looking to stack on another car on top of yours, you know for sure you need a beefy suspension to get you where you need to go. We are looking at an 8-10-inch Mcgaughy suspension with a custom coil over conversion from Fox. Rear leaf springs and Firestone Ride Rite airbags make sure that a friggin' Wrangler can be stacked atop without any issues. 20-inch American Force wheels hold 37-inch Toyo R/T tires, more than enough to get you where you want to be.

As for the front and rear bumpers, FabFours runs the show with the inclusion of a 12K lb TMAX recovery winch. Those same bumpers are also equipped by mini monster hooks, while the front bumper sits in front of a RBP RX3 grille.

Throw on a MagnaFlow exhaust, a custom SMP FabWorks custom rack, and an all-custom interior from M.A.T. and you are set to complete part two of this story. A few other custom works on the vehicle, such as the paintjob, Factor 55 accessories, and R1 Concept rotors, and there’s still room for a few more. But I do urge you to check out the gallery if you haven’t done so already.

This little demon, however, has seen almost as much custom work as the Ram. The suspension has been lifted using a 6-8 inch Bulletproof suspension and 18-inch American Force wheels engulfed by 35-inch Independence SS tires. R1 Concept rotors should take care of any brake holding you may need. Rock climbing anyone?

On the Jeep too we find FabFours bumpers with a mini monster hook and swivel hooks. To complete the bumper package, an 8500-pound TMAX winch is also found. Factor 55 accessories are found here too, and once again an RBP grille stands behind it all.

Underneath, a G2 axle with 4:88 gears and differential covers are also found. But we also have a custom driveline modification offered by Inland Empire.

Conclusion

Now take that Jeep, throw it on top of that Ram, and what we get is one of those “I wonder what the baby will look like moments.”

But this isn’t what Truck Guru is all about. They are all about pushing the limits on truck design and performance and I urge you to check out their page to see the full extent of their work.

Honestly, rarely do we find something this decked out, capable, and unique. Just do it as you won’t be let down. Don't have time for that? No biggie, just click here for their Instagram page.
