Troy Lee Designs Partners with Adidas

A new partnership between Adidas Action Sports and motocross equipment manufacturer Troy Lee Designs has been announced today, and it begins with the Troy Lee motocross teams wearing Adidas Skateboarding footwear, as well as Adidas branding on team bikes.

Adidas will begin to support the efforts of Troy Lee's top racers in achieving their goals from preparation through competition.

“Adidas represents a blend of performance enhancing athletic footwear and apparel as well as relevant street style. Teaming up with Troy Lee Designs, the leader and supplier of equipment to the world's fastest motocross racers is a natural fit,”
a company statement reads.

As part of the recent agreement, the Troy Lee teams will be wearing only products from the Adidas Skateboarding 2011 range. Troy Lee racers and support crew will be wearing footwear and apparel for training both on and off the track.

"This partnership makes a lot of sense for both of our brands. Adidas will be a part of our athletes from training and preparation, all the way through race day. We're excited that Adidas is a part of our racing efforts," stated Troy Lee Designs Director of Marketing, Shawn Norfolk.

TLD has also thanked all of their team sponsors: Lucas Oil, American Honda, Red Bull, PPG, Wings for Life, Alpinestars, Couts Heating and Cooling, Dunlop, Epic Action Video Cam, Leatt Brace, McQueen Racing, Oakley, Pacific Collision, Pro Circuit, Rossignol, Santa Cruz, Selle Italia, Skullcandy, All Sport Dynamics, Cycra, Fasthouse, Flexfit, Hinson Clutch, Hot Wheels, Kahne Racing, Light Speed, Muc-Off, N Style, Nameplate, ODI, Primm, QTM, Renthal, RK Chain, Excel, Twin Air, Vasser Racing and VP Racing.
