TRON LiveCycle iPhone Game Released

Why stop at merging real Coke taste and zero calories, when you can also enter the iPhone game business? This is what Coke Zero thought, who managed to do them both and after becoming the favorite drink of people on a diet, also managed to launch a new game for iPhone users.

Specifically, Coke Zero has released a new Tron Legacy game, which is being referred to as 'the first location-based game' for mobile phones. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.1 or later.

Dubbed Coke Zero LiveCycle, the game brings the players to the world of Disney’s TRON: Legacy, a 3D motion picture that is scheduled to hit worldwide cinemas this December. “Download Coke Zero LiveCycle and use the GPS on your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 to engage in Light Cycle battles as you move around the real world,” the description on iTunes reads.

There is also a warning posted there for those who might get too carried away in fighting the artificially-intelligent opponents: “WARNING: Coke Zero LiveCycle should be played outdoors on foot and in large, open areas. Never play while operating any kind of motor vehicle. This game must be played outdoors.”
