Tron Gets Derezzed by Daft Punk

We don't know about you, but we kinda completely chewed our finger nail off waiting for the release of Tron: Legacy. If last year we had Avatar to look forward too in December, 2010 surely belongs to Disney's Tron and the revival of the characters and amazing world previewed decades ago by Steven Lisberger.

The wait will be over next week, as the movie hits the 3D movie screens on December 17. Until then however, Disney released the soundtrack which will go with all those neon suits and bikes in the movie. And what a combination we have! The official video of Daft Punk's Derezzed, as well as some footage from the movie to go with it, can be seen below.

Tron: Legacy is perhaps the most anticipated movie title of the year, but not only for movie lovers. The motorcycle industry went nuts already, with countless replicas made to mimic the LightCycles having already been presented. Motorcycle suits, and even watches in honor of the movie have already been released.

For those who don't know, Tron's action takes place inside a computer, where the so called Master Control Program is using all its power to control the virtual world. The first Tron, released in 1982, left the story unfinished, just enough to open the doors for the sequel.

This time, the advancements in technology will bring to life the inside of the machines in a way never seen before. Add to that the fact that it is all presented in 3D, and we have quite a looker on our hands. Enjoy!
