Then years have passed since Triumph launched the Street Triple super naked and to celebrate the special milestone, the UK company has created three unique special editions.
All the limited edition Street Triple will feature a special paint finish made in association with 8Ball paint shop. The three versions are named the Street Triple R Dark, Street Triple Gold, and Grey.

The Dark gets a design that follows the previous Triumph Dark editions plus a factory belly pan, fly screen and cowl. An Alcantara seat and the Union Jack printed on the side of the tank are standard on all models, while the Gold and Grey versions come with color-matched rims.

The special series is limited to 50 units in each of the three color setups, and each of them will feature their series number on top of the tank. The Street Triple R Dark will be on sale starting October and will cost £8,599 (€9,930), while the other two will be offered later the same month at £7,999 (€9,236).

Triumph launched the Street Triple back in 2007, closely following the lines of the Speed Triple 1050 and using a retuned 675cc inline three-cylinder borrowed from the Daytona 675. An R version was released in 2009, coming with an upgraded adjustable front suspension and better brakes.

The second generation Street Triple arrived in 2013, coming with sharper looks, a remodeled frame, ABS, Brembo rear brakes and a retuned electronic fuel injection to cut down emissions at the cost of around 2 hp less than the original model. The exhaust also got relocated from under the seat to the swingarm level to bring down the center of mass and make the bike more easy to flick around the bends.

The R version launched at the same time with the standard model and, again, came with a new adjustable front suspension and different color setups to differentiate itself from the pack.
