It looks like this is a "Teasers' Fall," as we have one more such video for you, courtesy of Triumph. It's not hard to guess that the big star of the British manufacturer is the main Modern Classic bike, the Bonneville.
For 2016, the Bonneville receives a solid displacement hike that will also bring extra power, and liquid cooling. Still, Triumph manages to retain much of the bike's retro vibe, one of its strongest selling points throughout the decades.

It is still unclear whether Triumph has other major changes in mind for the Bonnie and the rest of the Modern Classic bikes derived from the platform.

Most of those who have ever ridden the Bonneville will agree that the suspension department is one of the areas where Triumph has a lot of work to do. If anything, the riding comfort for the Modern Classics could benefit from various improvements, with the seat being probably the next item that needs some refinement and updating.

Other changes for the Triumph Bonneville are only speculated

Still, the bike's technological prowess isn't exactly the first thing that draws customers. The looks and overall feeling riders get when they are at the helm of a Triumph Modern Classic are prevalent when it comes to the choice.

Some voices even said that liquid cooling and extra power were rather a gratuitous upgrade, whereas the bike could have done just fine as it was until the 1100cc model surfaced. Funny thing, some of these fellows also mention better suspension, ABS brakes, and increased comfort.

All in all, we see that Triumph is following the bigger displacement trend, but Hinckley is also considering that the future brings two big changes in the industry, at least in Europe. These are ABS brakes and Euro 4 emissions, and even the classic machines will have to play ball with these new rules.

How much will Triumph be able to retain the retro looks while offering modern-day safety features and engine performance? Quite a lot, we'd say, as it is already doing a good job now. It looks like the new Bonnie and maybe other siblings (judging by the contre-jour photo) will surface officially on October 28. Stay tuned.
