It looks like Triumph have managed to put together a small and very lucrative assembly plant in Manesar, near New Delhi, and the first of the 7 models are expected to be delivered from this location.

Whereas Triumph has been spending quite some time preparing their entry in the emerging and alluring Indian market, it looks like the Brits will not import completely built units, given the huge price tags such machinery will end up with in the dealerships.

Triumph's motorcycles for the Indian market will be all CKD, and therefore cheaper. According to local sources, Triumph has already picked few dealers very carefully. It looks like Triumph will bring the Daytona, the Speed Triple, Thunderbird, an Explorer, the mighty Rocket III and the Bonnie to India. We'll delve a bit into this, too.
