Triumph Speed 94 Special Edition Harks Back to the Days of Yore

Back in 1994 Triumph introduced the debut version of the Speed Triple, a machine that packed strong cafe-racer styling cues with an all-out streetfighter stance and which become one of the milestone models in the modern history of the British maker. The Speed 94 Special Edition celebrates more than two decades of asphalt aggression with a bike which will not pass unnoticed.

Based on the 2015 model year Triple, the Speed Triple 94 is a very neat customizing exercise from Triumph. The Brits used some of the lines of the old bike, together with paint schemes, decals and various cosmetic additions for refining the final attire of a bike that's both retro and modern at the same time. Quite fancy for a 2016 MY bike, isn't it?Speed 94 and Speed 94R bridge generations of streetfighters
The new Special Edition bikes manage to retain small bits of all the Speed Triple generations, from the initial T309 of the mid-'90s to the 1997 T509 and continuing with the 2005 model year 1050cc beast.

The Speed 94 is accompanied by its racey sibling Speed 94R, in the good tradition of the British house. Both machines share the same 135 hp, 111 Nm (81.8 lb-ft), 1050cc triple-cylinder injected engine. The powerplant sits in the signature aluminium tube trellis frame with a sporty single-sided swingarm and an upside-down Showa fork and a matching rear monoshock.

Radial Brembo brakes equipped with ABS take care of the stopping power delivery while the generous drilled rotors are worthy of serious track action, too.Two color schemes and the retro script evoke the past glory
The Triumph Speed 94 and Speed 94R will be available in only two colors, Racing Yellow and Jet Black, and both bikes will proudly show off the original Speed Triple logo with the handwriting design. Like always, the R version comes with some extra accessories and is a bit more expensive.

Triumph Speed Triple 94 and 94R will be available in limited numbers for £9,749.00 (€12,395 or $14,390) and £10,999.00 (€15,010 or $16,235) cash, respectively, and with a financing option, as well.
