James Bond has always been a car lover – in 25 films or so, Britain’s favorite spy has driven, crashed and destroyed more expensive cars than most of us normal humans will get to see in the flesh in a lifetime. But for what it's worth, and apart from a few exceptions, Bond was never much of a motorcycle guy.
Due to the still ongoing health crisis, the launch of the latest James Bond flick (No Time to Die) has been pushed to November, but it’s never too early to start building the hype around it months in advance.

As one of the leading British bike manufacturers, Triumph probably always wanted to tie its name with James Bond. It succeeded for this film more than ever before, and got some of its bikes on the set for some serious action.

But that wasn’t enough, apparently, and here comes the “first ever official motorcycle directly linked to the Bond Franchise.” That’s the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition.

Inspired by the motorcycles featured in the movie and based on the top of the line Scrambler XE, this special edition of the model brings a special 007 bodywork, a unique paint scheme and even a Bond instrument startup on the TFT screen.

All of the changes compared to the base model are visual and comfort-oriented. As far as power goes, the bike is brought to life by the lineup’s stock 1,200cc engine, developing 90 ps and 110 Nm of torque.

There will be only 250 Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition motorcycles made, with sales opening as of today (May 21). Most intriguing, we are told to expect “more announcements from Triumph in the near future about developments in our partnership with No Time To Die.”

Full details on what the Bond name means when applied to a Triumph motorcycle can be found in the press release section attached below this text.
