Triumph Motorcycles joins the group of safety-focused bike manufacturers who use the Realrider safety technology and is now offering the app for free, for a limited time, just like Rieju (and more makers are expected to this party, too).
Realrider is a safety and quick-response technology which uses smartphone features such as GPS, accelerometer and gyroscope to determine if you've had a crash. At the same time, the Realrider app determines your location and can send a distress alert to the emergency services, complete with your location data, for the easiest and fastest way to receive help.

Contact number, vital personal information and similar info will be sent to the Ambulance Control Room, and they will try to reach you. In case you answer, they can determine which kind of support you need; if you don't answer, the nearest quick-response team will be alerted and be on its way to your location.

The Realrider app is currently available only for Apple devices, and an Android version is being developed, too. However, registering for free until May 23 grants the users the Premium version of the app for zero cents, and they'll receive a notification when the app is released.
