Triumph Launches 2010 Autumn/Winter Clothing Collection

British motorcycle brand Triumph has recently launched its Autumn/Winter line of casual wear and technical riding gear, which combines the vintage-inspired fabrics and colors with the most modern manufacturing technologies.

Designed for when the weather turns, the Sympatex Explorer Jacket (£275) and Sympatex Explorer Jeans (£190) have been designed for sports touring enthusiasts. They are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable, thanks to the Sympatex Performance Membrane.

Also, the new Adventure Jacket (£225), Adventure Jeans (£175), Adventure Boots (£180) and Adventure Gloves (£50) have been specifically designed to perform on or off road. This collection has a multi-purpose design that allows the rider to ride in comfort on the road and perform harder when swapping tarmac to the dirt track.

In leatherwear, the Stockton Jacket (£280) is made of soft, 1.2mm cowhide. Its retro styling combines the black leather with vintage red and ecru stripe detailing alongside subtle detailing, such as the union flag embossed zip cover. The Lexford Jacket (£250) includes hidden ventilation panels, a removable thermal lining and removable soft compound Knox CE elbow and shoulder protectors.

In the textiles section, we find the classic ‘off-road’ inspired Trials Jacket (£170) and Richmond Jacket (£160), made from Samtex waterproof, abrasion resistant fabric with leather stripe detailing.

Completing the collection is a fourth t-shirt added to the Legends collection that features Steve McQueen, while two new vintage inspired t-shirts also are added to the range.

Specifically, the McQueen #4 T-Shirt (£20) is inspired by a commemorative metal plate that features him riding in the famous International Six Day Trials in 1964. Castrol 68 (£22) pays homage to the famous Isle of Man TT races, which have taken place on the road racing circuit since 1907, while Breed Apart (£22) is inspired by a vintage Triumph T-Shirt from 1972. The writing on the logo swoop reads ‘A Breed Apart.’
