Triumph Daytona 675 Special Edition Released

Triumph Daytona 675 SEDaytona 675 SE with Pirelli SuperCorsa SP tires
North America’s Triumph customers are now having the chance to buy an unique factory sport bike with the Daytona 675 SE (Special Edition).

According to motorcycle-usa.com, the limited edition model is based on the Daytona 675 model, except that its body panels, tank and fenders are covered in Pearl White, while the frame, swing arm and subframe received Sparkle Blue paint.

“Now, Triumph has taken the bike’s styling a step further with this incredible new color scheme. You absolutely have to see the Daytona 675 Special Edition in person to appreciate the way sunlight makes this bike shine,” said Jim Callahan, North American Marketing Manager for Triumph Motorcycles.

The only difference between the basic model and the limited edition is only its aspect, since the Daytona 675 SE is mechanically identical to the standard 2009 Daytona 675.

The two-wheeled vehicle uses a 126bhp three-cylinder engine and the latest chassis technology. including adjustable front and rear suspension. Riders can adjust both high and low speed compression, making the bike suitable to both street and track riding as well as compliance for rough road surfaces. The 675 SE has radial-mount Nissin monobloc front brakes to give tremendous stopping power and Pirelli SuperCorsa SP tires.

For those having in mind to become a Daytona 675 SE owner, Triumph gives them the opportunity to personalize both the looks and performance of their model, offering a full range of accessories and factory race parts.

For track day enthusiasts, accessories include lightweight carbon fiber parts and a ‘plug-and-play’ quickshifter as well as a race-style rear set footrests and a racing inspired exhaust that were developed with the Italian company Arrow Special Parts.

And since riders use to match their clothing with their ride, Triumph and Alpinestars technical riding apparel offer a range of jackets, pants, gloves and boots, designed both for male and female Daytona 675 riders.

For North America’s enthusiasts, less than 350 of the 2009 Daytona 675 SE motorcycles will be available, with a $9,999 starting price.
