Luca Bar Design ups the ante for Triumph with a very sweet concept, the Daytona 1100. While the world of superbikes is a tough place to live in, Triumph might just lend an ear (or eye, for what's worth) to Luca Bar and take this project seriously.
Things are changing in the liter-class segment and it really looks like 2013 could be the start of a 3-cylinder revolution, with Yamaha following in the steps of MV Agusta and releasing their first sport triple, the FZ-09 few days ago.

Far form being onla a dream, such machinery is really feasible, given the fact that Hinckley already produces a liter triple engine, so the job is kind of half done.

We just know there will be a lot of guys drooling over a British superbike, as such a contraption is truly appealing: the heritage of Triumph, the exclusive and exotic feeling of riding three cylinders, and the proven sporty nature of machines such as Speed Triple or 675 Daytona. And these bikes would also be easily homologated for world-class racing, too, hence the opportunities... Think, Triumpoh, think!
