Triumph Bonnevile T100 Rivale by Roberto Rossi

Coming from an Italian custom motorcycle builder, the Rivale has a vintage style applied to a modern bike, specifically a 2003 Triumph Bonneville T100 that could easily pass as a well-used scrambler.

Roberto Rossi is the name of the guy behind this project, which aims to be the first in a long line of bikes that he wants to produce by embracing the philosophy of Charles and Ray Eames.

Describing the Rivale, Rossi says he wants to combine the authenticity and history with modernity, the old-style image with a modern, everyday use. The project’s designation comes to emphasize the principle of rivalry in the custom made market, more shallow from a cultural point of view.

Basically, the builder has modified the frame and used the gas tank from a vintage Triumph. The fenders and side panels were painted by Ettore Callegaro, and the seat and saddlebag see below were custom designed. In addition to that, the saddlebag is detachable, allowing it to be used in other purposes as well.

The details of the Rivale project, as revealed by BikeExif, are listed below:
