Good news from Triumph, after a rather long series of recalls: they're offering the Special Edition trim of their liter-class Sprint GT tourer machine.
The 2013 Triumph Sprint GT SE brings touring-worthy equipment in the standard offer, thus aiming to make life easier for those who plan to spend their vacation aboard a motorcycle. A gel seat is no offered in the SE package, together with our all-time favorite heated grips.

A new touring windscreen is on the menu and with the new top case with a passenger backrest, the total loading capacity of the 2013 Triumph Sprint GT SE reaches 117 liters (4.1 cubic feet).

At the heart of the 2013 Triumph Sprint GT SE riders have the same 1050 triple, with 130 HP on tap and plenty of torque (108 Nm or 80 lb-ft), ABS brakes and 200+ miles (more than 320 km) range for real touring trips.

Triumph dealers already started receiving the 2013 Sprint GT SE, with an on-the-road price of £8,999 ($14,070 or €10,585). Available in Champagne or Candy Red color.
