Triumph is readying two small-displacement motorcycles, a naked and a faired one. I guess we can safely assume they will, expand the ranks of the Street and Daytona families, respectively, but an official name and thus, confirmation is yet to be expected.
It looks like these Triumphs are powered by the rumored quarter-liter liquid-cooled single, and which is expected to deliver up to 30 hp. These photos show that the new bikes retain the full character of their bigger siblings, visually, and this will be a good selling point.
Since the entry-level machinery is targeted towards young, new riders, having performance backed with solid, sporty looks is a great advantage.
The bikes will be built in Triumph's new plant in India, and we might expect the prices to be really affordable. Even though we all just know they will have a killer price in the Indian market, we can only hope Triumph will not follow in the steps of KTM and the 390 Duke.
Anyway,Triumph know that this segment is a very tough one, so we can only hope for the best.
