Just a few months (if everything pans out and there are no further delays) separate eager fans of the 2021 Ford Bronco from the moment when the first examples will get parked on their driveways in preparation for upcoming adventures. In the meantime, SUV enthusiasts can always occupy their time with possible configurations for the much anticipated rock crawler.
Although it has unfortunately been delayed to an alleged production start date of May 3rd (with the first deliveries for the 2021MY kicking off in June), Ford has been allowing Bronco fans to fiddle with the SUV’s configurations since October 2020.

The problem with the Build & Price tool is the visual representations of both the exterior and interior colors are not exactly spot on. In fact, they are being described as a big mess, even causing major internet backlash over the possible looks of some of Bronco’s most exclusive options – such as the Navy Pier interior for the First Edition.

No worries, because the Blue Oval has had ample time to manufacture a big lot of pre-production prototypes in all sorts of configurations. And, with all the hype surrounding the Bronco, it’s no surprise most of these have already been caught in the wild and quickly presented to the world.

The latest example of (carefully planned) spotting comes from the Bronco Nation, which as an affiliate of the Blue Oval, has access to a huge deal of enticing Bronco postures. As such, fans and Bronco reservation holders who were interested in checking out the available blue color options now have a trio of Antimatter Blue, Velocity Blue, and Lightning Blue units at their disposal.

It’s important to note these pictures weren’t taken inside the factory either, thus offering a better look at the real-world appearance of these specific colors. For reference, we also imported the same shades from the Bronco Build & Price tool, and one can easily see the renders are way too close to each other.

By the way, the 2021 Bronco colors with the widest availability are Velocity Blue and Antimatter Blue, while Lightning Blue is exclusive to the already sold-out $57,410/$61,605 First Edition. Interestingly, Bronco collectors will be restricted to just this option since the Blue Oval doesn’t offer any other blue shade on the First Edition.
