First you get the ones who buy the most expensive cars just for the show off, then you get those who love modifying vehicles into their dream machines. The drummer of the famous rock band Blink-182 is definitely part of the second category.
Since creating music through the force of his imagination and the will of his drum sticks is what the 39-year old artist does ever since he was a teenager, things are similar with his cars. It's being creative and making your rides look closer to what you want, to what you think they should look like.
Whether we’re talking about the most expensive breeds amongst his collection, such as the recently purchased Rolls-Royce Wraith he got murdered-out, or it’s rather about an older SUV, things have to be custom.
One of the latest projects the famous drummer has been working at is an older Chevrolet K5 Blazer he owns for some time now. First, Barker upgraded it with some beautiful new custom made six inch soft ride springs.
Then, it received a proper paint job, which got the car closer to what most of the rocker's rides look like. It would seem this one comes in a grey nuance, rather than black, but the feeling still remains the same.
The car is currently located at Burbank, California-based auto shop "Delmo’s" where it will remain until it's finished. Getting new roll bars and an upgrade on its interior are the last steps until it's ready. However, according to what the rocker posted on his Instagram recently, it’s a matter of weeks until fans would see him driving the car on the streets.
