The third trailer for the upcoming Transformers 3 movie has hit the Internet. The short clip was released during the NASCAR Daytona 500 race, so there is something in there for the fans of oval circuit action. Yes, we are talking about the NASCAR robots that we showed you a while back. There's not that much to see, as the spot is only 30 seconds long, but we have a lot to tell you. So let’s get right to it!

The clip is similar to the Super Bowl ad, as it shows the city of Chicago in ruins after the Decepticons launched a full-on invasion of the Earth. We don’t know what the exact focus is, but they are still interested in capturing Sam. The Autobots are up against incredible numbers of foes, including whale-like ships that are flying overhead, wrecking the city and causing havoc. There is also an octopus-like monster that is tearing up the asphalt, plus a dragon-inspired flying Decepticon that we are guessing is Laserbeak.

As for the Autobots, Optimus is shown doing the skating mode that became popular in the last movie. He is once again wielding the laser sword we’ve seen before. A full jet-pack is placed on his back, though we can't really tell if it’s another robot or a set of parts.

The one big new piece of information provided by the trailer is the fact that a trio of NASCAR robots will indeed make their appearance in the third installment of the saga. These are most likely the Wreckers, an elite Autobot Commando unit that has only been seen in the comics so far. The three cars are based on the racing version of the Chevy Impala and sport red, blue and green color combinations.

Unfortunately, Megan Fox has been replaced by Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Looks like Sam likes blonds now, though we can’t really blame him.
