What can a man do when he ain't got a car, and he can't be bothered with public transport? Thumb a ride, of course. But in Romania, a man hitched a ride without intention, nor his consent, because of a paranoid lady in a black Fiat.
The gentleman on the Fiat's hood in the adjacent video is Robert Stefan. He was minding his own business driving his hatchback to work. When he was waiting patiently for the lights to turn green, his car was hit by a Fiat Grande Punto.

A Fiat driven by a lady, who was taking her daughter to school, hit Robert's car when he was stationary. She didn't stop to inspect the damage or ask the guy how to settle an apparently small traffic incident. As such, Robert floored it and left in hot pursuit of the offending lady.

Hit-and-run incidents aren't cool at all, but this one will make you think twice before you go after the baddie. Eventually, Robert reached the Fiat-driving woman and told her to stop through non-offensive hand gestures. The lady panicked, so she floored it harder than Robert. At a red light, he caught up with her, got out of the car, and went straight to the woman. Of course, with no intention of settling this violently.

When Robert was in front of her Fiat, the woman accelerated towards the Romanian man. Because he didn't have time to step out of the way, Robert jumped on the hood of the moving car, clinging on to the windscreen wipers. After more than a mile of dangerous driving, the adventure came to an end.

Speaking to ProTV, Mr. Stefan is adamant that the woman "didn't even try to drive around me. She wanted to escape from me, making left and right turns." The paranoid woman's account of the incident is as follows: "Yes, he tailed me. I know I didn't hit him! I was in shock, afraid he would hit me."

The police department in Bucharest is currently analyzing this incident, but Mr. Stefan is sure that justice will be made. He told the aforementioned publication that he'll "press charges for attempted murder because I could've been dead right now. I think that if I were to fall [from the Fiat's hood], other cars would've hit me."
