Looking for the most efficient hybrid without a plug? The Toyota Prius c is what you’re looking for and its recent revamp for 2015 makes for another good reason to get one.
The Prius c is the most affordable new Toyota hybrid you can get today and its compact, youthful new look makes it ideal for daily city trips while still averaging 53 mpg city, 46 mpg highway and 50 mpg combined.

As with the 2015 Prius v, the compact gets a whole new face, with slimmer redesigned headlights, a broad lower grille, restyled bumpers, new rims and crazy new exterior finishes - Lime Metallic, Tangerine Splash and Sparkling Sea Metallic. It looks a bit like the Ford Fiesta, which is not bad at all.

Standard features now include new LED projectors low- and high-beam headlights, shark-fin antenna, automatic climate control, color TFT multi-information display, remote keyless with illuminated entry, tilt-telescopic steering wheel with audio buttons, Bluetooth hands-free phone capabilities and the Entune Multimedia Bundle with a 6.1-inch touch-screen display.

The thing that makes it go in such a green way is a revamped 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine that makes 73 hp and 82 lb-ft of torque aided by an electric motor that bumps up the output to 99 hp.

A 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-car warranty covers all components minus consumables, while the hybrid-related parts are protected by an eight years/100,000 miles one.
