Japanese hot hatch fans have another reason to go nuts now, as the Limited Edition Toyota Vitz (Yaris) GRMN Turbocharged will go on sale soon.
Priced at JPY2,700,000 (about €21,000/$28,000), the turbocharged Toyota Vits by GRMN will be available in two colors - Super White II and Black Mica - and only in 3-door body style.
Developed as “a sports hatchback that exemplifies the pure and grounded handling expected from a compact sportscar”, the turbo Vitz will offer 43 hp more than the standard vehicle, totaling 152 hp and 206 Nm of torque. Increased handling will be provided by sport 4-pot caliper brakes, vented discs, strengthened body, BBS aluminum wheels and a GRMN exclusively tuned suspension.
Inside, you will get exclusive sport seats, instrument panel and a three-spoked leather steering wheel with red stitching.
However, if you are looking forward to buy one, application for the limited 200 units will start on 25th of August and will go on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Online applications can be submitted here.
