Young families have another reason to be happy as the Toyota Verso-S (known as Ractis in Japan) just received a slight upgrade. It’s not that much to make you write a check right now and go to the nearest dealership, but it’s a nice bonus if you were committed to buy one in the very near future.
Styling changes are minimal, but if you pay special attention to details, you’ll see that the new Verso-S comes with slightly different headlamps with projector technology and LED daytime running lights, all being offered as standard now. Moreover they now stay on a freshly contoured fascia which sticks closer to Toyota’s “Keen Look” design language.
At the back, you’ll find a pair of new LED taillamps and if you step back a bit those 16-inch alloy wheels with a 3D effect on their spokes will surely catch your eyes. And as a bonus, a new bronze metallic paint has been added to the list.
Speaking of colors, the interior is now offered in a choice of single-tone black or a combination of brown with black seat bolsters. Your senses will also tingle a bit more because some of the trimmings, dash graining and silver stitching have been slightly revised.
The tech side received a tire pressure warning system and a rearview camera by default now, while the model equipped with the Toyota Touch 2 system comes with a 6.1-inch full color touchscreen and multiple connectivity.
In case you need more apps for your little Verso, the options list includes the Toyota Touch 2 with Go which offers full map navigation with customizable speed limit and speed camera warning, Real Time Traffic powered by TomTom, Google Street View, Panoramio, Google local search, weather, fuel price and parking space information.
