Toyota Motor Corp. announced today to start exporting the Corolla compact sedan made in the US to 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean from next year.
Manufactured at the Tupelo plant in Mississippi, the new Corolla model will be exported starting with April 2014, in more than 7,500 units during the first year of sales.

"Toyota's U.S. manufacturing operations continue to grow as a key supplier of cars and trucks for global markets," Jim Lentz, CEO of Toyota's North America Region, said in a statement. "The export of U.S.-built Corolla sedans to Latin America and the Caribbean will help to further solidify our U.S. manufacturing base."

The 2014 Toyota Corolla comes with a more stylish design and upscale interior, improving its personality while also retaining the same reliability, versatility and low cost maintenance.
