Toyota UK Opening Christmas Fair

Toyota’s UK subsidiary in Burnaston is opening a Christmas fair this weekend in order to raise funds for multiple charity organizations nearby.

The event will be staged on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its plant in Burnaston, by the junction of the A38 and A50. Attendees will find a number of Christmas gift stalls, refreshments and activities for children there and there will also be a guest appearance by Derby County mascot Rammie.

Parking and admission will be free while the proceeds raised from the event will go to the Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust which supports charities in Burnaston and Deeside in North Wales.

Running each year since 2008, the charity fair managed to donate more than GBP 889,000 (EUR 1,071,540) until last year.
