It's become a tradition among British car dealerships to offer a free car at any major nationwide launch. The condition? That you actually place an order for the model you expect to win, which kind of makes it a catch-22 scenario.
Such is the case of Toyota UK, the company just announcing it's going to host the debut of an all-new Aygo city car this weekend. And surprise, surprise, they're giving one out for free during prize draw.

It all works like this:
  • First, you place an order, which makes you eligible to put your name forward in the draw
  • If you win, Toyota will give you back all your money, including whatever you spent on options

This second-generation mini car from Toyota is once again built as a partnership with Peugeot and Citroen. However, its design is more original than ever, with a large X mark dominating the front fascia. Options and colors are abundant, so you could end up spending a lot more than the £8,595 base price.

That sort of money, Toyota UK will give you a 3-door Aygo with a new 1-liter 69 hp gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed manual shifter. Standard kit includes 14-inch rims, projector headlights with LED tracer light and LED daytime running lights, 2-speaker audio with AUX and USB connections, power front windows, remote locking doors, hill-start assist, tire pressure monitor and more.

However, the model you're drooling over in our photos is the top-of-the-range Aygo x-pression that starts at £10,995. It comes with piano black rear bumper insert and x-tension A-pillars, front foglights, part-leather sporty seats, chrome door handles, body colored instrument panel, gloss black center console and even a reversing camera.
