The United Kingdom Toyota subsidiary has recently announced plans to replace its current president Jon Williams with Matt Harrison.
Harrison has been with the company since 2000 when he joined as general manger of vehicle marketing before becoming marketing director in 2003 and then the company’s commercial director in 2011. Matt Harrison’s previous auto industry experience includes 10 years with Ford

"I am delighted to be taking on this role at such an exciting time for both the Toyota & Lexus brands. We have a strategy to continue to grow both brands in the UK and I look forward to leading the team in the implementation of those plans,” said Harrison.

Toyota Manufacturing UK was founded in 1989 and has approximately 4,000 employees on site at any time, producing a new vehicle at about every 60 seconds.
