Toyota Motor Corporation has filed three new model trademarks last week, including the GS F nameplate for the Lexus lineup.
According to ClubLexus.com, Japanese automaker Toyota has registered the following trademarks: GS F (US application), FT-HT (US and Canadian application), and XSE (Canadian application).
While the FT-HT name is obviously related to a new (Future Toyota) concept car, the XSE moniker is somewhat of a mystery, especially since it has been filled only in Canada. As far as the GS F name is concerned, we will probably see it go into production as a high-performance successor for the Lexus IS F model.
The Japanese automaker is already offering a GS 350 F Sport model, but that's far from being considered a truly pumped-up version of the Tahara-assembled executive car.
