America’s best selling sedan of all time is said to get even better, with Toyota promising to put more driving fun in the upcoming 2015 Camry model. And judging on that headlamp up there it looks like the automaker kept its promise.
Reports about a new, youth-oriented (why would youngsters buy a midsize sedan anyway?) 2015 Camry started some months ago after Toyota’s Calty Design Research said something about a new model that will come out with a “more emotional, more impactful design.”
Then other publications ‘reported’ the next-gen Camry to draw inspiration from the Scion FR-S. Well, we can’t tell much about this by only seeing this teasing headlight above, but it sure looks something apart from what Toyota has now in its range.
That narrow headlight there along with the small portion of a trapezoidal grille almost reminds of a the front end of the new Ford Fusion, or the Mitsubishi Evo X. The original pic was pretty washed out, but we did some color adjustments to bring it into this shape. Still, we haven't found out some secret shapes to appear under a higher contrast.
Whatever it is and what other things will the 2015 Camry have, we’ll just have to wait a bit longer to find out, as the car will debut in a couple of hours or so. Stay tuned for more.
