Toyota Supra Bumper Falls Off and Looses to VW Golf

How many times have you seen a Toyota Supra beating a Ferporschini? Most of the time, right? Now, how many times have you seen a Supra getting smoked by a Volkswagen Golf?
Probably if it was parked and the Golf happened to pass by, but here’s not the case, as this is probably the first race where a highly tuned Supra looses to the famous hatch.

Don’t worry, the Supra didn’t compete with your average Golf R or something like that, but with the HGP Golf VI, which is a monster of o hatch. It’s powered by a 3.6-liter bi-turbo engine making 745 hp and 925 Nm (682 lb-ft) of torque.

It has things like a large volume cast aluminum intake manifold with additional nozzles, two HGP R28 turbos, 2 large intercoolers on each side, custom fuel system, modified ECU, a reinforced DSG and a lot more.

On the other hand, the Supra doesn’t look bad either; it comes with a TitanMotorsports turbo kit, Virtual Works exhaust manifold, Veilside intake, CP pistons, Carillo H-beam rods, HKS 264 camshafts and a wad of GReddy components.

The whole setup makes for 790 whp and 904 Nm (666 lb-ft) of torque, which in theory should be enough to at least stay close to that box on wheels. But then, this happened...
