Toyota is said to reveal its new plans for the Camry midsize sedan in about two weeks from now.
According to Toyota US chief Bill Fay, the automaker will have to improve the Camry’s front end crash safety in order to pass the IIHS tests. However, it’s not clear that this will affect the vehicle’s styling to much.

"The car has done really very well since we launched it" three years ago, Fay said. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." He wouldn't say when the revamped Camry will go on sale.

Despite the Camry’s unchanged style, sales are still high, with the latest reports showing a 1.3 percent increase this November compared to the same period of last year, totaling nearly 379,000, while its main rival Honda Accord made for 324,000 last month.
