Certain Prius, RAV4 and Tacoma models may present the same electronic issue as the Lexus RX 350 that can cause the Anti-lock Brake, Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control functions to intermittently turn off. However, standard braking operation remains fully functional, so you will be able to stop the vehicle. No reports of accidents or injuries related to this problem have been recorded.

The vehicles involved in the recall are numbered at around 711,000 2010-2014 Prius and, combined, approximately 260,000 2012 RAV4 and 2012-2013 Tacoma models.

Owners will be notified via first class mail to take their vehicles to the nearest Toyota service where technicians will solve the issue for free.
