When you say 'genie' the mind instantly goes to a place of Disney, the loveable blue character from 1992 animation Aladdin. However, Toyota is turning that conception on its head with their own girl genie played by Big Bang Theory cutie Kaley Cuoco.
But according to Toyota, Kaley isn't your average run of the mill genie, she's modern, smart and stylish that comes out when you rub the front grille. But be careful what you wish for, because she might make you work for it.
“The all-new RAV4 is a testament to the people that drive it and live lifestyles that are full of energy and enthusiasm, which is one of the reasons we are so pumped to work with Kaley to showcase it,” said Jack Hollis, vice president of Toyota Division Marketing at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. “We wanted to share Toyota’s ‘Let’s Go Places’ spirit of journey with viewers of the big game in a light and relatable way.”
This commercial will debut on February 3rd during the 2013 Super Bowl on CBS. Fans of the Toyota RAV4 will surely appreciate the adventurous spirit and the subtle and elegant lines of this new crossover. Surely, the point Toyota is trying to make is that this car will help you on your adventures.
“As soon as I saw the script, I knew I wanted to be in this commercial because the sense of humor was right up my alley,” said Cuoco. “It was so much fun and I’m excited that everyone gets to see it now and again on Sunday.”
Editor's note: You can't have that spare tire on the real RAV4, can you? Sad!
