Toyota has recently became the official car supplier for the Rugby Football League’s (RFL) governing body in the United Kingdom.
The three-year agreement involves that Toyota will provide the RFL 50 Auris hatchback models built at the local Burnaston plant, which are expected to be drove for more than a million miles per year.

“I am delighted to welcome Toyota, one of the biggest names in the motor industry, as our latest partner. To link up with such an established brand is a real coup and I look forward to working closely with them throughout the coming three years.”, RFL Commercial Director James Mercer said.

The new Toyota Auris offers customers both classic petrol and diesel engines as well as full hybrid powertrains to choose from. The range will also be increased with the newly released Auris Touring Sports compact wagon.
