As we were writing up earlier about a Toyota Vios Pickup, we came across this oddity which had to find its own place on our blog, even if it is a bit old.
Looks like human ingenuity reaches sky-high when certain needs are not fulfilled by existing products, thus odd and sometimes funny things come to life from obscure garages.
An US Prius oriented salvage parts company got a bit bored on a Wednesday afternoon and thought about increasing the Toyota Prius’ versatility. Maybe someone would like all the comfort and efficiency of the hybrid and a large boot to haul things around.
So they picked up a rear-end bashed Prius and a front-twisted Subaru Baja, took the damaged ends away and welded the untouched pieces together.
As you can see in the photo gallery bellow, the Priaja, as we like to call it now, is not particularly beautiful, but its increased luggage space surely gives it an edge over the standard model.
