Yep, it’s the eleventh year for the Toyota Prius to be named Green Car Top Pick by Consumer Reports for its overall ecology and practicality factors.

Beaten only by its smaller sibling Prius c (Aqua) when it comes to mileage, the Toyota Prius Liftback returns a combined 44 mpg thanks to its highly efficient 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder gasoline engine aided by an electric motor.

Reliability comes as standard and there are many cases in which owners surpassed the 500,000 miles milestone without changing the car’s battery or electric components.

The Prius Liftback also comes with a spacious comfortable interior fitted with all sort of standard commodities like automatic climate control, display audio system with 6.1-inch touchscreen and multiple connectivity, cruise control, tilt/telescopic steering wheel with shortcut buttons, smart key access with push-start button, dual glove compartment and more.

And if these are not working for you yet, maybe you should wait a bit more until Toyota will put out the next generation Prius, that will come with a new type of hybrid system, a different architecture and even upgraded driving feel.
