With the gasoline price building up, there are people that want to drive the most economical vehicle and not care about how much
horsepower you can have or how fast you go from 0 to 60. And technically speaking, a 5.4-liter supercharged Ford GT is absolutely useless in the city apart from posing with it around local coffee shops.
So, returning to our fuel consumption matter, the latest study from GasBuddy showed that the lowest fuel-cost-per-mile vehicle you can get in the US is the Toyota Prius c. After filling it up, you will slowly burn 7.2 cents per mile. The Prius c is followed short by the Ford Fusion Hybrid with 7.6 cents/mile and the Fusion C-MAX Hybrid with the same “money consumption”.
By comparison, the top money-eater Bugatti Veyron with its 16 hungry cylinders burns 35.9 cents per mile, while a Lamborghini Aventador will throw out the window 30 cents after each mile.
