Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) just announced its CY2014 sales and production plans, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motors and Hino Motors.
Toyota alone wants to sale 7,780,000 units (6%) overseas and 1,500,000 units (-5%) in Japan, summing up to 9,280,000 and representing a 4 percent increase over CY2013.
Daihatsu is to sale 630,000 (-4%) units in Japan and 230,000 units (13%) overseas, totaling for 870,000 (0%) worldwide, the same as last year.
Hino Motors wants to ramp up worldwide sales by 9% reaching 180,000 units, with 50,000 (2%) in Japan and 130,000 units (13%) overseas.
Summing everything up, Toyota wants to sale 10,340,000 units in 2014, 4 percent more than it did in CY2013 with 9,980,000.
