We doubt that you have’t heard of the ice bucket challenge yet, since most socializing websites are filled with hastag posts and videos supporting the cause. After several celebrities went through the ordeal of having an ice-cold bucket of water poured onto their head, here comes Toyota’s president turn to aid with the whole awareness campaign.
So in case you always wanted to see the world biggest automaker’s boss being splashed by a couple gallons of water at his own will, the video bellow will be of good use.

After the cold shower, president Akio Toyoda passed the burden to Nissan vice chairman Toshiyuki Shiga, Toyota dealer association chairman Kanetaka Hisatsune and Sparx Group president Shuhei Abe, as the challenge implies.

Although the challenge seems to have worked in raising awareness to help combat ALS, with donations having multiplied since the videos begun spreading over the Internet, this really tells something about our philistine civilization who appears to need a bit of circus before starting to deal with a life threatening disease.

In case you don’t know what are people wetting their selves over the internet for, ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, slowly making the victims paralyze and ultimately kill them.

To help with the researches aimed at eradicating the disease as well as learn more about it without filling the Internet with BS, you can visit the ALS Association official webpage here.
