For example, safety is ensured as standard on all Toyota vehicles through its STAR Safety System, which consists of Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Smart Stop Technology (SST).
Moreover, Toyota constantly searches to improve safety, using specially developed programs in partnership with its racing teams. One of them which you can see in the video bellow, uses special sensors to evaluate how the human body acts in an accident, monitoring NASCAR drivers at the moments of impact. The data collected is introduced in special computer software to be analyzed and used in further simulations.
