Those of you on the prowl looking to buy a Toyota Prius might be interested in the company's latest incentives, but before getting into specifics we should mention this only applies to you if you're living in Southern California.
Don't want to wait for the new Prius and you're considering having a 2015MY for less money? Well, read this carefully as you might find the following info useful.

Long story short, Toyota is offering a $2,000 gas card for those who opt for 24-month leases interested in upgrading after checkbooks are open for the upcoming 2017 Toyota Prius.

The incentives

If you live in Southern California and want to get a 2015 Prius, Toyota will put a $2,000 Visa Gas Card on the table, but be aware that versions like the Prius c, Prius v, and Plug-in are not included for the extra incentive.

According to Cars Direct, this month you have the possibility of leasing a Prius Two from $239 per month for 24 months, with $1,999 due at signing. That stands for another $500 in lease discounts.

Also, if you're already a Prius owner - regardless of what Prius variant you might have - Toyota will offer a loyalty bonus worth $500. But that's not it. Toyota is also dropping the last six months of payments on all leases ending between June 2 and September 8.

It looks like low gas prices that don't seem to go up anytime soon have forced Toyota to adopt a more generous incentive policy, although we have to admit the fact that the Prius liftback is not a young car by any means. Still, this doesn't mean people can't have it for lower stickers, right?
