Replacing the old Alphard and Vellfire models, the Toyota Noah and Voxy are the next generation spacious minivans perfectly designed for large families. And it looks like the families liked the two models a lot so far, placing huge orders for them.
Toyota Motor Corporation said this week that first-month orders for the Noah and Voxy models were over 60,000 units, meaning that they exceeded the combined monthly sales target of 8,000 by over 7 times.

With about 37,000 orders, the sharper-looking Voxy appears to be the favorite, while the toned-down Noah came second with about 24,000 units.

One of the reasons for their booming sales is the new optional hybrid powertrain they can be had with, allowing for a fuel economy of 23.8 km/l (4.2 l/100 km or 56 mpg).
