According to an independent study, Toyota cars tend to retain their value much longer than any other competitive brands.
The largest official vehicle records company in Ireland, Cartell.ie, shows that Toyota vehicles are the the first ones that keep their value for longer that other car brands. The study analyses residual values of new cars in the Irish market originally purchased in 2010.
Toyota vehicles took first place in seven out of nine categories examined by the study. The Toyota Aygo is ranked first in the gasoline A segment, the Yaris in the gasoline and diesel B segment, the Corolla takes first spot in gasoline C and the Auris ranks first in diesel. Adding to the suite, the Toyota Avensis takes first place in the D segment and the Verso tops the MPV diesel category.
