Australians bought 2.2 percent more vehicles in 2013 compared to 2012, totaling a record of 1,136,277 units sold, with foreign ones being the most popular.
And according to reports from the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), Toyota shares 18.9 percent of the over one million vehicles sold in 2013. Second spot was achieved by Holden with 9.9%, while third and fourth were occupied by Mazda with 9.1 and Hyundai with 8.5 percent.
